The Government of Sudan is committed to respecting the privacy of individuals who visit our Web site. This page summarizes our Web site privacy policy and practices.

 

The Government of Sudan web sites do not automatically gather any personal information from you, such as your name, phone number, e-mail or street address during your visit to any of our web sites. This information is only obtained if you supply it voluntarily, usually through contacting us via e-mail or registering in a secure portion of the site.
All personal information you do provide is protected under the federal
Penal Law. This means that at any point of collection you will be informed that your information is being collected, the purpose for which it is being collected and that you have a right of access to the information.

 

The Government of Sudan uses software that receives and records the Internet Protocol (IP) addresses of computers that have connected with our Web site. In such instances, we make no attempt to link these addresses with the identity of individuals visiting our site.

 

The Government of Sudan does not regularly use "cookies" to track how visitors use the Web sites of individual institutions (Cookies are files that a Web site can place on your hard drive, without your knowledge, to monitor your use of that site). Whenever we enable "cookies" to facilitate your transactions, we will first inform you.
Visitor information is not disclosed to anyone except to the particular ministry's employees who need the information in order to respond to your request. We only share the information you give us with another government department if your inquiry relates to that department. We do not use the information to create individual profiles, nor do we disclose this information to anyone outside the federal government.

This Web site is the official Web site of this particular ministry. On this site, you will find the official procedures and kits necessary for applying for the Ministry Services.
Impostor Web sites are attempting to mislead members of the public into thinking that they are official sites of this Ministry. These Web sites may attempt to charge you for services that are otherwise free on our official site or through the official Web sites of the Sudanese government abroad. They may also try to charge you for services that you may never receive, or request that you pay their fees in cash by mail or by making deposits to personal bank accounts. These methods are contrary to the official procedures for the payment of our services.
