In order to allow NIC to carry out its national IT training NIC has devised a certification process. Training providers’ applicants are required to complete an application form as a formal request to provide training for NIC staff members. This training may be internal or external to the NIC organization. The definition of "relevant training" is sufficiently broad to allow a wide variety of Training Course Providers to offer training services to meet NIC's certification requirements.
NIC has developed a program and procedure to evaluate Training Course Providers to assure applicants for training that the training course meets NIC's criteria for formal training and to provide certified training providers a source of quality training options for continuing education requirements. This document describes the procedures required to obtain NIC recognition for Training Course Providers. (link to document)
